JESUS IS KING ✝️ | A Powerful Look at Women, Freedom & Faith
TWO VERY DIFFERENT PICTURES OF WOMEN, FAITH, AND FREEDOM.
This powerful video presents a dramatic contrast between a Christian woman being baptized and scenes depicting the harsh realities faced by some women and children under extreme interpretations of Islamic law and restrictive cultural practices.
The imagery is difficult to watch.
Women covered from head to toe.
Children subjected to abuse and forced marriages.
Young girls placed into marriages with much older men.
And the heartbreaking reality of children growing up in environments where women can face severe restrictions on their freedom, education, clothing, and daily lives. The video then brings the message back to America, where a woman stands before the camera with a smile and proudly declares: “JESUS IS KING.” ✝🇺🇸
The purpose of this video is to encourage people to think about faith, freedom, women's rights, and the treatment of women and children around the world. It is important to recognize that Muslims and Muslim-majority countries are not all the same, and interpretations and laws vary dramatically from place to place.
This video focuses on the most restrictive practices and situations portrayed in its imagery. Whatever your faith or beliefs, the treatment of women and children is something worth discussing. Faith should never be an excuse for cruelty.
Children deserve protection. Women deserve dignity.
And freedom should never be taken for granted.✝ JESUS IS KING.
This video contains commentary and imagery intended to provoke discussion. Individual scenes and claims should be considered in their specific cultural, legal, and historical context.
