THIS IS ONE WILDLIFE ENCOUNTER YOU WON'T FORGET! 🦬💨
A peaceful day at Yellowstone's Bridge Bay Campground suddenly turned into an unbelievable wildlife encounter. A massive bull bison is seen rolling around in the dirt, enjoying what looks like the ultimate dirt bath.
Nearby, 65-year-old Carl Isom-McDaniel is with his grandson, watching and taking pictures from what they thought was a safe distance. Then everything changes.
The bison suddenly becomes agitated and charges. Carl tries to escape through the trees, but this isn't exactly a footrace he's equipped to win. The massive animal catches up, hooks him with its horn, and launches him approximately 8 FEET INTO THE AIR! 😳🦬💥
The footage is absolutely unbelievable. Fortunately, Carl survived the terrifying encounter and was taken to the hospital for serious injuries. Reports say he remained in good spirits while recovering.
And here's the lesson:
That isn't a cow.
That isn't a giant teddy bear.
And that definitely isn't something you want chasing you through the trees. 😂
Bison can move incredibly fast, and Yellowstone officials remind visitors to stay at least 25 yards away from bison and other wildlife.
